About Canvas in G10+ Online TIJ Printer
As for G10+ printer, the canvas is the white scope on the homepage where you can edit the printing information.
I Height of Canvas
The height of the canvas is determined by the printhead(s)’ height, which can’ t be adjusted manually. If you’ re using a single head printer, and it’ s “half inch” for the type of ink cartridges, the canvas is 12.7mm high; if you choose “1 inch” for the type of ink cartridges, the canvas will become 25.4mm high automatically.
So if you’ re using a four head printer and choose “1 inch” for the type of ink cartridges, the height of the canvas can achieve 101.6mm.
II Length of Canvas
The length of the canvas is 50cm (500mm) set in default. And you can set it as 185cm at most. While as the longer the length of the canvas, the slower the speed of editing printing information, It’ s suggested you set the length as short as possible according to the printing information.
If the length of information is longer than the canvas, the exceeding part can’ t be seen on the canvas but still can be printed normally if the length of information is less than the maximum length of printing information of the printer.
III Maximum Length of Printing Information
The factors which will affect the maximum length of printing information include encoder’ s pulse, grey level, etc. The lower of the encoder’ s pulse, the longer of printing information; the lower of the grey level, the longer of printing information.
Taking the encoder in 2000pr and perimeter of 200mm and grey level of 1 for example, the maximum length of printing information on G10+ printers are theoretically as follows for your reference:
Half inch | 1 inch | |
1 head | 2.382m | 2.373m |
2 heads | 1.191m | 1.188m |
3 heads | 0.596m | 0.595m |
4 heads | 0.596m | 0.595m |
