How to check whether it is encoder problem when printing is blank or incomplete?

After installing the encoder, if unable to print or the printing effect is not good, please follow the following steps to solve.

2. The printing effect is not well, such as missing lines and deformed fonts.

Steps：

1.Check whether is machine failure

How to do: Velocity+ Contentious printing + print gap distance : 0.

If printing is successful, the machine failure is eliminated.

2.Check whether is sensor failure

How to do: Velocity + sensor.

If print successfully, the problem of sensor failure is eliminated.

3.Check the setting of Encoder ppr and Encoder Cir (The perimeter of the encoder wheel). Different encoder will be different in encoder ppr and Cir, pls contact with your encoder suppliers to get the right specifications.

e.g. Encoder is 2000 ppr and its wheel perimeter is 200 mm, Encoder ppr should set 2000, and Encoder Cir set 200. Encoder is 5000 ppr and its wheel perimeter is 500 mm, Encoder ppr should set 5000, and Encoder Cir set 500.

Note: 2000ppr is the best for G10+ series!

4. If the encoder is installed too far away from the print head, the printing effect will also be affected (ONLY FOR REWINDER). It is better to install close to print head.

5.Try Encoder + Sensor.

If printing fails, please check the encoder wiring.

Wiring of encoder:

1 for 5V     red wire

2 for 0V     blue wire

3 for encoder signal A     green wire/white wire

4 for encoder signal B     green wire/white wire

PS: The wiring of 3 and 4 can be switched, but need to change the encoder direction accordingly.
