How to Connect an Alarm Light to G10+/G11+/G12 TIJ Inkjet Printer and Set the Alarm Ink Level?
When using a TIJ inkjet printer, users can connect an alarm light to receive a warning signal when the ink level is running low, helping reduce downtime on the production line. You can set the alarm to trigger when the TIJ ink cartridge reaches a specific remaining ink level. This article will explain how to connect an alarm light to a TIJ inkjet printer and and set the alarm ink level.
I. Wiring diagram for Connecting an Alarm Light to 5-pin IO Signal Cable

PS: Wiring methods may vary depending on different alarm light models. Please refer to the product manual of your alarm light for correct connection.
II. The method for setting the remaining ink level alarm threshold of the TIJ ink cartridge
1. Insert the connected IO signal cable of the alarm light into the TIJ inkjet printer signal port

2. Setting the remaining ink level alarm threshold of the TIJ ink cartridge.

On the Settings page, click “Set alarm ink level”.

Enter the desired value (0–50%), then click Confirm.

III. Alarm light status:
- Green: Everything is normal.
- Yellow flashing but printing is going: 1. Ink level is approaching to alarm ink level. 2. All data of one of MFD command have been printed.
- Red flashing and stop printing: 1. Printing is stop accidently. 2. No cartridge. 3. Cartridge no ink. 4. All variable data have been printed. 5. The set printing quantity have been finished. 6.Press ‘print’ button when all print heads are not in enable status.
