How to Import GS1 Data Stream to a TIJ Printer via PC: Complete Setup & Printing Guide
Need to print GS1 Data Matrix (GS1 DM) codes with a TIJ inkjet printer? When thousands of unique codes are required every day, efficiently importing GS1 Data Stream files is essential. This guide shows you how to import GS1 Data Stream to a TIJ inkjet printer via PC for fast, accurate, and reliable variable data printing.
1. Connect the computer and the TIJ printer using an Ethernet cable


2. Click Settings > Communication Settings

Click Network port settings, enter your IP address, then set the IP Mode to Manual Setting.

3. On your computer, click Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet

Click Edit under IPv4 address, then enter the IP address you just configured.

4. Open Command Prompt, enter your IP address in the pop-up window


5. Click Add > Text

Click Import Text to import your GS1 Code Text Format

6. Cut the contents of the Text field

7. Click Add > Serial port

Paste the content you cut earlier into the Label field.

8. Data Sources select Network port, Type select Barcode

Code type select GS1-DM, GS1 parsing select On, Text select right.

9. text wrap: The values are accumulated sequentially
For example, the first line of text, (01)04620478611940, contains 18 characters.
Enter 18, then click Confirm. The next line contains 17 characters.
The cumulative line break value is 35, and so on.

10. Then adjust the size and spacing according to your requirements

11. Fill in MFD NAME according to your own setup

12. Click the PrintSystem software installed on your computer

Enter the IP address you configured, click Connect.

13. Click Select File, import the GS1 data stream file, click Hide Preview

14. Click Operation Control > Start Print, then click Auto Send

enter the MFD Name you just configured.

15. The inkjet printer is now connected to the computer, and data communication has been established.
