How to make weighing machine communicate with G10+ online printer by Serial port?

1.Wiring

Definition of interfaces, weighing machines usually use three interfaces.

PS: The wiring of RX TX GND will be different in different weighing machine, pls subject to their protocols.

2. How to judge the weighing machine and G10+ inkjet printer had been connected successfully?

2.1 Settings > Fault Detection > Rs232 reception ( for details, pls check the file “C-COMM2 serial port protocol.doc”)

2.2: Add serial port information

Add→Serial Port→Data Source: Serial Port→Type: Text (the length of data is same as label. For example: the data is 100KG, only 3 characters, set 3-4 characters as label is better, otherwise the weighting info will be far away from other text.)

2.3 Settings>Communication Settings>Serial Port Settings>Protocol: WEIGHING

Weighing protocol option is only available on the printers software version≥3.88.

3. Printer can receive weighing machine data after coming into printing statures.
