Instruction of Double-row High Speed Function in Parameters of G10+ TIJ Online Printers
In the printhead’ s parameters in G10+ system, you may find there are choices of Left Channel, Right Channel, Double-row High Speed and Double-row High Speed/Reverse in Nozzle Selection.
Currently an 1 inch cartridge only has one channel, so no matter which mode to choose, the printing result is the same; different modes are available only on half inch cartridges.
Left Channel & Right Channel
It’ s easy to understand Left Channel and Right Channel. As we know, there are two channels of nozzles on half inch cartridges. When you choose Left Channel, only the nozzles at left work when printing; When you choose Right Channel, only the nozzles at right work when printing.
When the production line’ s speed is less than 100m/min, please choose Left Channel or Right Channel to print.
Double-row High Speed & Double-row High Speed/Reverse
Double-row High Speed and Double-row High Speed/Reverse means nozzles of both channels are chosen to work when printing.
The reason why we need both channels to work is when the production line‘ s speed is high at a certain degree, single channel printing can’ t meet the production line’ s speed any more. The printing speed when both channels print can be as twice as that when one channel prints.
Therefore, when the production line’ s speed is more than 100m/min, it’ s suggested that both channels need to be used for printing in order to match the high speed and keep the printing quality good.
As for choosing Double-row High Speed or Double-row High Speed/Reverse, it may differ according to your on-site situation because there is physical distance between the two channels, which may affect the printing results. Please try them separately until you get the correct printing result on your particular production line.
